I would like to introduce our new PLU App for smartphones. This application provides a convenient way to practice PLU numbers for unscannable products anytime, anywhere. It has been specifically designed for Lidl employees to help them quickly and effectively learn PLU numbers, which is crucial for cashiers.
The app offers two modes: "Learning" and "Training." In the "Learning" mode, you can practice product descriptions and PLU numbers. This helps you familiarize yourself with different products and their corresponding PLU numbers.
In the "Training" mode, you have two options to choose from. The first option is "Product description." In this mode, a product image along with six different product descriptions will be shown. Your task is to correctly identify the product and select the matching description.
The second option is "PLU number." In this mode, a product image along with six different PLU numbers will be displayed. Your goal is to correctly identify the product and select the matching PLU number.
In the "Game" mode, your knowledge of PLU numbers will be put to the test. The objective is to enter the correct PLU numbers as quickly as possible for all 30 products. This mode provides an engaging way to assess your proficiency in PLU numbers.
